Race report by Nicolai Lindegaard
Last weekend was the final round of the Danish Electric Touring Car Championships held at the well known ‶Rainbow※ Track I Glostrup (the EC Track from 2005). The weather was very nice for the entire weekend (no rain) so everyone could use their dry set-up.

In the Superstock 13.5T No boost Class, the last round was very close between XRAY driver Nicolai Lindegaard and the T.O.P driver S?ren B. Holst. The only way for Nicolai to win overall would be to take the TQ and win the last round. On Saturday practice day, we were working with a new set-up to make the car even faster in the tight corners and to make the car easier to drive overall.

We tried to make the camber links shorter and the car more ‶soft※ and we must say it worked very well on this low-traction track. On Sunday, Nicolai was very fast right from the beginning but in the first qualifying session Nicolai and S?ren hit each other so the didn’t get a good round. In the second round qualifying, Nicolai was again very fast and set a TQ time that no one could match.

In the finals, Nicolai was so fast that no-one could follow him and he was winning the last to finals with almost no competition and took the overall win of the day and the Danish Championship 2011.
